Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I recently published a post that discussed all of the new releases I want read in 2021 (read it here) and I really enjoyed talking to everyone about my TBR. Today I’ll be sharing some backlist titles (books published before 2020) that I want to read this year!
- The Feverwake Duology by Victoria Lee – I just got copies of both of these books and I am really looking forward to starting them. I have heard great things about this series and I hope to get to it soon!
- The Weight of Feathers and Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore – I read When the Moon Was Ours, Wild Beauty, and Dark and Deepest Red in 2020 and fell in love with Anna-Marie McLemore’s writing style. I can’t wait to read their older books and their new book coming out in 2021, The Mirror Season.
- All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendon Kiely – I got a copy of this book this summer and haven’t gotten to read it yet. I really want to make reading it a priority in 2021 since it is such an important book.
- Allegedly by Tiffany D. Jackson – I have really liked the other books by Tiffany D. Jackson that I have read (Monday’s Not Coming and Let Me Hear a Rhyme). Her books are so interesting, sad, and important, and I’m sure this book is no different.
- Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberly and Austin Siegemund-Broka – I read Time of Our Lives recently and really enjoyed it, so I am looking forward to reading other books by these authors.
- Summer of Salt by Katrino Lena – I’ve heard such great things about this book and I really want to read it soon!
- First & Then and This Adventure Ends by Emma Mills – I’ve read Foolish Hearts, Famous in a Small Town, and Lucky Caller, all by Emma Mills and thought they were so cute! I really hope I can find copies of her first two books soon and read them.
- We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal – I just got this from the library so I’m going to start it soon. The sequel just came out so hopefully I can read that soon as well.

Not read of heard of these books. A lot of my reads so far were published before 2020. Here were some I plan to read that were published before 2020. Ir soda help id you love the old classics.

3. Reread of Harry Potter
4. Hard Times
5. Tess D (can’t spell this Hardy book)
6. Jane Eyre
7. Wuthering Heights
8. Howl’s Moving Castle series- finished
9. Gulliver’s Travels
10. Kidnapped
11. The Yellow-Lighted Bookshop- in the middle of
12. etc…..ones I forgot the name of in my Kindle
